Classic Smocked Dress in Pink Gingham

As you probably know, I work a few days a week for Madame, the world famous fashion designer.  I love my job, and one of the perks is getting all the fabrics and notions I can get my mitts on to make my own creations.  In the shop, we've been working on school wardrobes, and I've been working on my own back-to-school wardrobe as time permits.

My school--The Academy--has a dress code.  That is, the students are only allowed to wear dresses and skirts unless it's Friday.  That's okay, I guess, because everyone's in the same boat.  And, I have to confess, I love dresses!  Red dresses, blue dresses, green dresses, floral dresses, plaid dresses, paisley dresses, wool dresses, cotton dresses...  Well, you get the idea!  Thanks to my magic wardrobe, I have enough dresses to wear a different one every day: no repeats!  And, also, thanks to my magic wardrobe, I have shoes for each outfit.

When I'm not at The Academy, or Madame's, I love to play with my friends, read, write, and--well, time travel!  But today I'm in the here-and-now.  I have a birthday party to go to in a bit, and I'm all set in this pretty pink gingham smocked dress with white patent slip-ons that include cut-outs and bows.

Thank you for stopping by!   ZsaZsa
